Due to the chemical contamination found in many areas of a paper mill, UHP water jetting offers many advantages for maintenance re-coating projects. The chemical contaminants are completely removed by the high velocity water jets and the surface is prepared for re-coating. This method of surface preparation completely eliminates any damage from airborne dust and abrasives to plant equipment and can remain in service with no interruptions due to the re-coating process. The UHP equipment can be located outside the building or structure and hoses or stiff tubing can be run to the work site, eliminating congestion during plant outages.
